WordPress Real Estate Theme D1

This was my very first WordPress real estate theme that I created when I was living in a cabin/house up in Breckenridge, Colorado. Wait, no it wasn’t, I designed this in my old office (aka Colorado State University Library) located in beautiful and friendly Fort Collins, CO).

It took me about a week, and that’s just the design part. I made several modifications, changing this and that, until I got it just right. Following that, I did all the coding for it later (making it work for WordPress real estate sites) when I was living in my office in 2008. Yes, I was living in my office as I didn’t have enough money to have a residential spot, too. But the main reason I got the office was so I could DJ (scratch on my turntables) at obscene hours of the night (4am) and thus not annoy the neighbors (because there weren’t any, well, at that time of night). This is when I really progressed as a DJ, as well as when I figured out how to make WordPress work for real estate web sites.

Anyways, where was I? Oh yes, I wanted to do something really high-end and difficult in efforts of distancing myself from the competition, as well as my clients from the competition. Most sites look the same and therefore get lost with the others. This one though really stands out and is definitely memorable. The header is a bit big and takes up quite a bit of real estate, however, it’s a great place to showcase photos of the cities/towns you cater to. Annnnd, if you want, I can make it so you can have a different header for each page, city, which makes your real estate site that much cooler than your competitors.
