Just who is behind the Grounded Group?
While it says “Grounded Group,” it’s pretty much just me, Justin House. I just thought GroundedGroup.com was such a cool and powerful, solid name, I had to use it. Plus it’s easy to spell and remember, both very important attributes.

How much are your real estate web sites?
Anywhere from $750 to $1500. Custom sites start at $2000 and go up to about $5000.

Can I just pick from one of your existing real estate designs?
Absolutely. This is the route to go because, well, it’s a lot cheaper and easier this way because you can just pick the design you want, then I can add in your logo, photos, and text. Since the design is pretty much already ready, I can turn around your site within a day or two, at most a week. Uhhh, let’s be realistic, sometimes it takes a week or gi given the changes made on the web site. I’m cool making the changes, granted you’re cool paying me for requested alterations.

Can I update my real estate web site myself?
You betcha! This is the HolyGrail of my services; You can add and edit your property listings, blog, update pages to your site, add to your site menu/navigation, etc. Please contact me for a demo. I’ll walk you through the admin area so you know what you’re getting.

Do you work with Open-Realty?
Oh yes. I started working with that system in 2003, but later ditched for WordPress, which can be turned into a complete real estate listing application/program. I’m now returning back to Open Realty (OR) as they’ve made it much better now, and, well, it’s a lot easier for the clients, especially the older folk. I just don’t think it’s a search engine friendly as using WordPress for real estate, so chances are your site won’t rank as high with OR.

Do you only create real estate web sites?
Not exactly. If the project and the money is right, I’m always open to developing something different, especially if the client really lets me go off and thus make a badass web site. I’m very familiar with e-commerce sites with a focus on Zen Cart because it’s so dang powerful and promissing. And, it’s free! I just charge to customize it, which can take quite a while depending on your needs, as well as the overall design and consulting.

How long have you been creating web sites?
13 years, consistently and professionally since 1996.

Do you have client references?
You bet! I have clients dating back to 1998 and would be open to answering any questions you might have about my services. I will provide names and numerous if there’s a genuine interest in my work.

Can I take my real estate web site elsewhere after you develop it? You know, in the event I just don’t like your smell?
Sho’nuf! It’s just has to be with a web host that supports WordPress or Drupal. I really suggest AddAction.net though because they are cheap and their support is frickin’ awesome. I’ve been with them since around 2002 and I’ve been grateful ever since. I also know their systems very well so I can work quickly, thus keeping your costs down.

Do you work with other web hosting companies, other than AddAction.net?
Yes. But, I really recommend AddAction.net because I just know their system pretty much inside and out, which keeps my development time down, and consequently your overall bill to a minimum. If I have to learn a new host (sometimes web hosts are totally set up differently than others, which often adds a least a couple more hours to the project, hours I have to bill for at $75/hr. Sometimes there are hosts that have really wacky systems which can add numerous hours to the job resulting in a very expensive web site.

Where are you located?
Beautiful and friendly Fort Collins, Colorado. This is definitely the best place I’ve lived due to the awesome atmosphere made up by genuine and approachable individuals. There’s so much talent in this town it’s ridiculous.

Do you know a lot about the search engines, as well as marketing?
This is one of my fortes. I’ve been reading and exercising my search engine placement skills since 1996. I have a very ethical approach to search engine placement, so your site not only gets near or to the top in most cases, it actually stays there given you follow my advice. This is paramount to your site’s success. I do my best to teach my clients about Real Estate SEO (real estate search engine optimization) so you can learn how to keep your site in the Top 10 of Google, MSN, Yahoo, etc., ideally in the number 1 spot. It certainly doesn’t happen over night, plus you have considerable competition, however, you have me on your side. Whoot whoot! I’ll gladly show you some of my top ranking sites under highly competitive keyword phrases.
